Belmont Athletics is more than competitioN —it’s a community, a calling and catalyst for transformation.

Belmont Athletics is built on the belief that competition and character go hand in hand. With 74 conference championships, a consistent ranking as the #1 NCAA Division I program for community service and 22 of 24 years as conference academic champions, Belmont student-athletes prove that excellence on the field, in the classroom and in the community can go together. 

Funding Priorities and Goals

Athletics Scholarships (Endowment)

Goal: $5M

Expand access and opportunity by funding scholarships for
student-athletes across all 17 NCAA Division I teams.

Goal: $10M

Address urgent needs such as revenue-sharing opportunities,
emerging technology, and program growth.

Betty Wiseman Mission Fund (Endowment)

Goal: $2M

Support international service trips that allow athletes to serve communities abroad while growing in faith and leadership.

Personnel Endowments

Goal: $4.5M

Sustain key leadership positions — including coaches and the
Athletic Director — ensuring program stability for the future.

Sport-Specific Program Support (Current Use)

Goal: $50k/program

Fund travel, training, equipment and program needs for all 13 sports, with dedicated support of $50,000 annually per program.

Bruin Club Support (Current Use)

Goal: $5M

Grow annual support from $300,000 to $750,000 by 2030,
providing resources for every Belmont Athletics team.
