Scholarships
Your application for admission serves as your application for merit scholarships. For first-year students, apply Early Action I and complete your application file by November 1 for consideration of the University's most competitive and highest merit-based scholarships.

Transfer student merit awards range from $4,000 to $10,000 a year and are awarded and mailed through the admissions cycle, from September through August. Merit awards are based on a cumulative GPA at the time of application submission, with a minimum GPA of 3.10 for consideration.

Financial Aid
To be eligible to receive any form of need-based aid, first-year applicants should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by priority filing deadlines of December 1 for fall and November 1 for the spring. Visit studentaid.gov to complete the form online. Indicate Belmont’s Title IV code on your application – 003479 – to ensure that our Office of Student Financial Services receives your Student Aid Report.
After your FAFSA has been processed, you will receive an email regarding your Student Aid Report (SAR) from the federal processor, which you should review carefully to ensure accuracy.
